We could swim before we could walk.
Growing up in the salty humidity of Tortola, a 13-mile long island in the Caribbean, we could always see the horizon. Our love for the water and passion for learning has led us to Wales, Bosnia, London, Columbia, Canada, Germany, Colorado and Maine, USA.
Ela just finished sailing up and down the Caribbean chain as part of her undergraduate studies.
Hana works in London as a theatre director, most recently working on a new play at The National Theatre on disabled rights and austerity.
Our shared desire to create and live flexibly underpins why we’ve started Hanela. We’d love to be able to continue travelling and learning across the waters!
We’re now both in lockdown in Hastings, UK, and will be dedicating our time to designing & crafting new styles. We hope you like them!
